Favorite Teacher

Okay, since I joined the facebook bandwagon I've seen some fun ideas for blogs. I'll try it out: Who was your favorite teacher at Provo High? Who could forget Mrs. Johnson's English class or Mr. Danner's Math? I KNOW everyone loved Mr. Bigo. So leave a comment and tell us who your favorite teacher was and why!

If you can believe it I used to think Mr Hirsche was cute! Holy crap! What was I thinking? Wasn't he bald? I guess he was cuter then Bigo right. I liked Mrs. Decker...she was comical. The New Zealand lady in D wing...what was her name? She was cool.

The New Zealand lady was Ms. Clearwater and she WAS a great teacher. But best of all time would have to be Mrs. Johnson.

I used to think Mr. Hirsche was cute too! And he was bald! It must be that he was cute compared to what else we had to look at!!!

I loved both Ms. Gough (psychology/English) and Mrs. Marshall (English). They were both so witty, and it was terrific that Mrs. Marshall was also just a little bit mean.

Mrs. Brown's English class was the bomb. She was so cool. I really liked Mrs. Mconnell too, she taught spanish and AP art history. We had so much fun in her class. Hmmm, there were a lot of great teachers. Is it sad that I can't remember some of their names? Can you believe our 10 year reunion is next year??! Woa, that went by fast people!

Can you post a question if the class of 2000 would like to share a 10-year reunion with the class of 2001? It was suggested by the class of 2001, but we want to make sure this is what the class of 2000 wants. Thanks. Jill Russon Austad

Hey, I forgot we had a blog! Alright, I loved Mrs. Marshall and Mrs. Brown (I still see her around sometimes...).
The blonde clothes-designer-- was she a bit young, too? I vaguely remember a young blonde teacher who also lived in the same apt as my first college boyfriend (they used to date, very weird).

I'll admit that I was madly in love with the art teacher Mr Reese.

Karen Brown (English) was fantastic! I thought Mr. Hirsche was funny with his yummy gummy bear geography. For choir-goers, Mr. Lindsay was a nut, but funny. We could make him so mad sometimes.

I forgot to mention Art Burnah - for French students. He was quirky, but very good at teaching the language! It also helps that for three years in a row, he was my first teacher of the day.
