In Memory of Scott William Slaughter June 3, 2004-September 6, 2004

Scott William Slaughter, 22, left us unexpectedly doing what he loved most during an ATV accident on September 6, 2004. Born June 3, 2004 to Leland and Pam Slaughter. Scott was always a loving and tender child. He attended public schools in Orem and Provo. He grew up playing basketball, baseball, hockey, and football.

Scott loved his family and friends and loved to be the life of the party. He was a great cook, his specialty being steak on the barbeque. Scott loved the outdoors including camping, hiking, four wheeling, and snowboarding. Hunting with his dad was also one of his favorite things to do. He was employed by Caza Drilling for four years as a derrick man, and loved working on the rigs.

Scott is survived by his parents Leland and Shelly Slaughter and Pam and Myron Gebhardt; sisters, Kara, Carlie, and Angela; brothers, Leland Jr., Aaron, Corey, Josh, and Tyson; grandparents, Helen Slaughter, Bill and Thelma Redmond, Andrew and Glenna Johnson, Albert and Lillian Gebhardt; many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Slaughter and Aunt Janice.
